Blue Jeans Cable™
These Cat5e and Cat5e+ cables are fitted with etherCon carriers to fit ETS InstaSnake audio adapters. Each assembly is made with US-made Belden cable, and is fully certification-tested to ensure specification compliant performance for return loss and crosstalk. The etherCon cable carriers provide excellent strain relief to ensure that flexion or pulling on the cable will not compromise connection integrity -- resulting in consistent, reliable performance in the field in any application from audio to data. Belden Cable: The 1305A and 1700A are unshielded cable. The 1533R is shielded cable. Blue Jeans Cable: BJC unshielded Cat6 is also available. All cables come in black and grey colors.
ETS Mainframe Baluns, using Balanced Line™ Technology, enable an IBM© mainframe network to operate over unshielded pair (UTP) wiring for easy low-cost installation and maintenance. ETS baluns enable the greatest reliable cable distances ("reach"). Reach assures a better and more reliable operation at shorter distances. Data communication reliability is achieved due to the outstanding noise rejection made possible by Balanced Line™ construction. The ETS design offers noise rejection performance that assures reliable operation in all installations.
Serial Data Baluns
The ETS Serial Data Baluns transform RS232 two-way signaling without additional control signals to run over Cat 5 cabling. The Serial Data Balun balances the transmit and receive signals and increases the distance signals can be sent up to 1000 feet. The result is similar to RS422 performance.
Pair Splitter to RJ45 jack to RJ45 jack
On occasion, it is desirable for several signals to share a single connecting cable. The ETS Pair Splitter (ES-101) can be placed at one end of the connecting cable where the Pair Splitter/Combiner places each of the four pairs of Cat3 or better cable onto a common jack. At the other end of the cable run, the second Pair Splitter breaks out each pair to its own individual jack. The Pair Splitter is a convenient tool for installers to carry in their tool boxes, as it can split or combine two or more signals on Cat3 or better cable, thus saving time for pulling extra cables.
Precision Instrumentation Balun
The ETS PI100 Series is a 3GHz instrumentation balun for testing the performance of cables or connectors designed to TIA, IEC, and related testing organization specifications. The PI100 has a useful bandwidth of four decades, from 300KHz to 3GHz. No other instrumentation balun offers a range as wide or as high. The ETS Precision Instrument Balun is useful for a variety of tests, including insertion loss, return loss, near-end and far-end crosstalk, balance, and CMRR. Transmission line techniques are employed to achieve bandwidths more than twice that achievable with transformer techniques, and five transmission lines are built into each balun. The unique design for the Precision Instrument Balun has been issued US Patent# 7,443,263 B2 (10/08) Input is unbalanced 50-ohm SMA connector. IBM Midrange Passive Hubs
The ETS TP2000 Balanced Star™ hub is designed to give system AS400 and S3X networks greater system dependability by delivering clear signals in both directions to IBM® specifications. The TP2000 uses a minimum of components and no external power, for greater reliability. The TP2000 uses passive balun technology to split the data signal that is totally system-transparent. This proprietary impedance-matched Balanced Line™ technology achieves outstanding impedance balance, and low noise performance. Balanced Line™ technology rejects the most reflected and induced noise within the network wiring, and enables the greatest signal distance of any non-powered hub. The TP2000 comes in sizes to support 2, 4 or 8-host ports and up to 56 workstations within a single rack or wall-mount enclosure.
